What is the HCG Diet?

The HCG Diet is the pairing of the human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG)  hormone injections with a low calorie diet. The HCG hormone is found naturally within our bodies, and helps to regulate the body’s metabolic processes.

The HCG Diet was founded by Doctor Simeons while he was conducting medical research in India. He began to notice that the women, despite being malnourished and in extreme conditions, were able to give birth to perfectly healthy babies. He began to dig deeper into the cause for this miracle, and that is when he discovered the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone. This hormone attacks the fat stores around our bodies to supplement any nutritional deficiencies we may have.

He began to treat his patients suffering from obesity or resistance to weight loss and found that they were able to lose significant amounts of weight when following a low calorie diet. Since his findings, many medical professionals have adapted to his original HCG Diet plan, tailoring it to the patient’s individual needs to ensure maximum results.

Before the HCG Diet

Before a patient can commit to the HCG Diet plan, Doctor Natasha Fuksina will need to run a series of tests to make sure that the HCG Diet is right for them. In order to determine this, Doctor Fuksina will first need to complete a medical exam, including blood samples. This is to make sure that the body is fit for the HCG Diet and that there will be no complications with the patient’s body and this new diet plan.

During the HCG Diet

The HCG Diet consists of the daily HCG hormone injections and a low calorie diet plan that Doctor Fuksina approves of. Additionally, any needed vitamins or supplements will be prescribed to keep the patient at optimal health levels. Because of the HCG hormone, patients won’t get the normal side effects associated with a low calorie diet, such as fatigue, hunger pains, or irritability.  Regular checkups will be scheduled to help the patient track their weight loss progress, to get the most accurate measurements of any weight lost. This diet plan can last anywhere between 23-45 days, depending on how high the patients weight loss goals are.

Following the specific diet plan outlined is very important if a patient wants to see the most optimal results. Doctor Fuksina makes sure to take into consideration each patients needs, but without following the prescribed low calorie diet, the HCG Diet plan will not be as successful as it could be.

Those patients that are serious about their weight loss progress have been able to achieve significant weight loss goals, all because they followed the HCG Diet plan that Doctor Fuksina created and prescribed them.

After the HCG Diet

It is important for the patient to understand that returning to their previous eating and exercise habits will eventually lead them back to where they began. This is a habit changing diet plan, and the goal is to establish healthy eating habits during the HCG Diet itself. This makes it easier to transition to eating healthier foods after the introductory phase of the HCG Diet is complete.

After the HCG Diet plan is completed, a patient can expect to see the weight lost, stay off. These are long-term results, and remain that way as long as healthy eating and a moderately active lifestyle are instilled into a person’s everyday behavior. This doesn’t mean that the patient needs to deprive themselves and remain unsatisfied after the HCG Diet plan is done, but just to be conscious of what goes in and the energy that gets burned off.
